Blind Film is a soundscape developed as an assignment at the MSc Media and Arts Technology programme at Queen Mary University of London on December 2016.
This project explores the role of sound and music in storytelling as layers of information. A scene was designed to have three main components: text, sounds, and music. This scene was repeated three times to create a soundscape: a first time with only the text (speech), a second one with the text and sounds, and the third one with all the elements (text, sounds, and music).
This way, the same scene is repeated, but the elements that play on the scene are different. The intention of this structure is to create a progression in the amount of information offered to the audience, so to make more evident the differences between scenes.
